materialism?
Hearing the expression "Worth dying for" or "To die for" of certain objects such as one's favorite food or beautiful pair of shoes gets me wondering much weight material objects have over humans. How much does your life mean to you every time you say something like that? I know it's an exagerrated expression but must we give the impression of dimishing the value of our souls for the sake of such things?

those who say such things in my opinion don't see the value we see in life, even if its just a comment it some who reflects their inner being.
