disconnected/finals

Last spring semester at UTSA; disconnected from those who I was to before which means new ones will be coming in soon; anticipating a hot hot summer despite this cold front that has hit south Texas in the beginning of May (so bizaarrre).

LeaderShape summit this Sunday-Friday means overnight summer camp at a college level minus the alcohol but intense skill development... excitement? I've never even been to a summer camp before...

Recently,

So I've been doing great lately, especially this semester. I've found myself immersed and happy in humanitarian, volunteer, and non-profit work. My classes are great and everything is so chill.

I'm in the process of going on board with Catholic Charities and hopefully will start this Tuesday in helping out with an ESL program for Burmese.



And I'm going to a badass conference in April called Power Shift and it's by the Energy Action Coalition.



Some other things are in the works and I'm praying for the best.

But hopefully after I graduate I can do either of these things regarding ESL:

I wonder if there are any other programs out there? I'm very interested in possibly teaching somewhere in Latin American...

a look on friendship

how did we let our friendship get on the top shelf? you know, something to admire from afar but hardly in use? It's gona be an antique one day. With the 'good ol' days' and good times but not funcationable because of more advanced and progressive things...
